Green Initiatives
Going the green mile
the red Barn’s heating and hot water comes from our ground
source heat pump, a renewable energy source. Recycling and
composting facilities are available at the red Barn.
We use a range of environmentally friendly cleaning products
including washing powder, detergent, dishwasher tablets.
At Venn, we have applied to the the Green Tourism Business
Scheme and are waiting a grading.
Our aims are:
To promote sustainable tourism which will positively contribute to
the local economy
To purchase local products and services.
To purchase recycled and bio degradable products wherever
possible.
To promote good environmental practice.
